Ronald Johannsen, 64, of Andrew passed away on December 5, 2018 at the Clarissa Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, Iowa. Services are pending. Lahey and Dawson Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time.

Ronald Ray was born on June 23, 1954 in DeWitt, Iowa to Raymond and Wanda (Grimm) Johannsen. He attended Central High school in DeWitt. He married Jennifer Morgan and three kids came of the union.

She later passed away. He worked as a farmer and as a custodian at Jackson County Hospital. He enjoyed working on tractors and various other things at his shop.

Some of his other hobbies included camping with his family and friends, watching his favorite sports teams, going on tractor and car rides and most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends sharing stories. Those left to cherish his memories are his three children; Wesley (Megan) Johannsen of Dubuque, Megan (Ryan Brady) Johannsen of Dubuque, Reid (Brittney Hellmen) Johannsen of Minneapolis, MN, grandchild Kennedy, sisters; Sheryl(Kenny) Brommelkamp of DeWitt, IA, Deanna (Mark) Schwab of Galena, ILL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
