Ronald L’s Obituary Ronald L. Butch Smith, 71, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born June 21, 1947 in Huntington, WV son of late Lee Roy and Helen Frances Elkins Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Sherman and Robert Smith; and three sisters Sheila, Mary and Teresa.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He is survived by two sisters Linda Baugh of Proctorville, Ohio and Gloria McFann of Norfolk, VA; three brothers Jim (Becky) Smith of Proctorville, Ohio, Darrell Smith of Huntington, WV and David Smith of Proctorville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and caregivers, his brother David, and Diana Adkins. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Berkeley Saunders.

Burial will follow in Getaway Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.
