OBITUARY Ronald L. Kaiser July 20, 1936 – September 25, 2018 Ronald L. Kaiser, 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Heritage Park. Mr. Kaiser was born on July 20, 1936 in Columbus, OH and grew up in Springfield, OH and Fort Wayne, IN. Ron served his country honorably in Tokyo, Japan during the Korean War with the United States Air Force.

He was an employee at Coliseum Montgomery Ward and Harris Kayot. Ron was also self-employed as an upholsterer. He was a member of the Fort Wayne Wood Carver’s Club.

Ron enjoyed fishing and traveling with his canine companion who he considered his “Wife,” Lucy. He also kept Bud Light in business for many years. Survivors include his children; Charles (Lisa Williams) Kaiser of Fort Wayne, Garry (Hsiao-Lan Chen) Kaiser of Milpitas, CA, Kevin (Kym) Kaiser of Fort Wayne, Anita Schaper of Ocala, FL, Ed Schaper of Fort Wayne, and Chris (Danielle) Schaper of Fort Wayne, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Hideko (Inagaki) Kaiser and 2nd wife, Suzanne (Dirig) Kaiser. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 1:00pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park, 1140 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park.
