Ronald L. Lockhart, Sr., 71 of Toronto, OH, passed away January 2, 2019 at Allegheny General, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born December 5, 1947 in Kittanning, PA, a son of the late Martin E. and Betty Jean (Yount) Lockhart. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Diana Kerner.

Ronald started working at the age of 18 in the Steel Mills in Pennsylvania and moved to Ohio in 1978 where he and his father owned and operated Lockhart Rent a Car and Limousine Service. He later worked and retired from Biggio Ford/Team Automotive Group with over 25 years of service as a member of the management team. He was an active member of the Steubenville Beagle Club for over 35 years and currently serving as field trial secretary and all around go to guy.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Debbie (McConahy) Lockhart; children, Nicole “Nikki” Lockhart, Reyna-Leigh (Michael) Volsky, and Ronald “R.J.” Lockhart, Jr.; grandchildren, Caitlin (Chris) Frazier, Lucky McClurg, Fabian Lockhart, Daniel Volsky, Kai McClurg, Jesse McClurg, Gina McClurg, and Jacob Lockhart; great grandchildren, Christopher Frazier and one on the way; siblings, Raymond (Darryl) Lockhart, Carole (Walter) Leyland, Darlene (Robert) Snider, Judy (George) Nemeth; and brother-in-law, Chuck Kerner. Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd. , Wintersville on Monday from 4 PM until time of funeral services at 7 PM with Pastor Jeff Greco officiating.
