ROSEVILLE Ronald Lee Cookson, 82 of Roseville, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Altercare of Zanesville. He was born November 7, 1936 in Roseville to the late Gerald O. and Mary A. Montgomery Cookson. He was a lifelong resident of Roseville and the owner of Cookson Pottery.

Ronald also worked at Cookson Restaurant and owned a dirt track race car “00”. He was a member of the Roseville Volunteer Fire Department and a trapshooter. Surviving are four nieces Becky (Ron) Cook, Melody (Ron) Bundy, Rachel Murphy and Denise Nice; two great nieces: Brittany (Terry) Corp and Breann (Shane) Adams; and great great nieces and nephews: Maddy, Myra, Andrew and Tucker.
