Ronald Leo Jones, Jr. (Ron) was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Ronald Leo Jones, Sr. and Cynthia Theresa Jones on November 16, 1971. Ron accepted Christ at an early age and was a very simple, quiet and faithful man full of kindness and love for all who knew him. Ron graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1990.

After high school, Ron attended Tiffin University on a soccer scholarship, one of the loves of his life. After attending college Ron went on to work as a corrections officer for the Cuyahoga County Sheriff Department where he was employed for over 20 years. In addition, he faithfully worked for the Cleveland Cavaliers for over 15 years.

Ron loved to watch sports and movies, and listen to music, especially reggae music. He also loved to spend time and travel with family and friends, and was lovingly referred to as MacGyver as one of the captains of their annual Cumberland Lake Boat Trip. One of his favorite pastimes was spending time with Mackenzie and Maxwell, his adopted grandchildren, and he was looking forward to the upcoming birth of the third grandchild Marleigh Ronia this coming week.

Another favorite pastime of his was playing with his electronic toys to include five phones, two watches, two tablets, and two computers, all in one black back pack that was always with him. On March 10, 2019, Ron suddenly passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones. Ron leaves to celebrate his home going his fiancé Vanessa Turner; siblings, Ann Marie Chambers, Sharon Jones, Lorna Chambers, Howard Chambers, Dean Chambers, Camille Smith (Robert), Marsha Tidmore (Norman), La-Tjuanya Pond (Thor), and numerous nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family members, and friends.

He has been reunited with his father Ronald Sr., mother Cynthia, and brother Wayne. Ron will be dearly missed by all.
