Obituary for Ronald R. Barrett Ronald R. Barrett, 79, of Owensville, IN passed away November 29, 2018 in Evansville, IN. He was born October 22, 1939 to the late Harold Benjamin Barrett and Annabel (Sokeland) Barrett. He was a pipe fitter and retired from Inland Steel after 26 year of employment.

Ronald loved helping others and would do anything for anyone. He will be remembered as a jack of all trades and having a heart of gold. Sometimes he would be rough talking, but he was a great friend to many and never new a stranger.

Ronald married the love of his life Jo Barrett July 18, 1996. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Ronald enjoyed watching sports of all kinds, but he found great pride in watching his grandchildren play.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend that will truly be missed. He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Annabel; siblings Gary Barrett, Gene Barrett, Benny Barrett, and Jennlyn Tines. Ronald is survived by his wife Jo; children Tony (Dawna) Barrett, Randy (Michelle) Barrett, Lori (James) Frederick, and Donnie (Trisha) Garrett; siblings Harold (Jo Ann) Barrett, Doyin (Patricia) Barrett, Karen Keith, Connie (Riley) Wiggins, Kenny (Sandra) Barrett, and Kent Barrett; 12 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Holder’s Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Barrett. Visitation will be held Monday December 3, 2018 at New Life Church of the Nazarene, 712 N Embree St, Princeton, IN from 10a-12p. Funeral will be Monday at 12p with Pastor Andrew Johnson officiating.
