Ronald’s Obituary Twin Lakes – Ronald W. Dunham, age 69, passed away peacefully at his residence on March 13, 2019. He was born on August 7, 1949 to parents Robert and Loraine (nee. Schultz) Dunham in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

Ronald graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1967 and Madison Technical College in 1969, with a degree in Commercial Art. Ronald was drafted into the United States Army in 1969 and was stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina with the 82nd Airborne Division. Following his military service, he attended the University of Oshkosh from 1971-1974 and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education.

Ronald then attended the University of Whitewater, graduating with a Master’s Degree in Art Education. In 1975, he married the love of his life, Cynthia Roessler, at the Lake Mills Moravian Church. From 1974-2014, Ronald was the art and photography teacher at the Union Grove Elementary School and touched the lives of many kids with his vast knowledge of the arts.

His classes were always in high demand by the students. For 28 years, he worked during the summer at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee as the landscape supervisor. In Ronald’s free time, he loved photography, reading, and attending many various events and venues.

This included the Renaissance Fair, Old World Wisconsin, Civil War Re-enactments, art fairs, and blue grass festivals with his brother, Rick. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved listening to music by Elvis. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Ronald will be dearly missed. Ronald is survived by loving wife, Cynthia; daughter, Courtney (Will Eisel) Bigel; grandchildren, Lea Jean, Mya Mae, and Nia Rose Bigel, Jaxon Wayne, Kaylynn Elizabeth, and Owin William Eisel; siblings, Jeff, Joe (Lori), Leslie (Gloria), Richard (Bonnie), Roger, Julie (Mark) Heiden, Lolagene (Erling) Gruel and Laurie (Greg) Sperger; mother-in-law, Lucille Roessler-Engsberg; brother-in-laws, Richard and Ronald (Denise) Roessler, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Leroy and Robert (Bobby) Dunham; father-in-law, Elmer Roessler.

Visitation for Ronald’s family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 11:30am – 2:30 pm. Memorial services and full military honors will immediately follow at 2:30.
