Obituary for Ronald Whitmore Ronald D. Whitmore, 73, of Oskaloosa passed away Tuesday morning, October 9, 2018, at the MHP Hospice Serenity House in Oskaloosa. Ronald Duane Whitmore, son of Fran and DeEtta (Heh) Whitmore, was born September 1, 1945, in Gouverneur, New York. Throughout his life he mainly worked in manufacturing and lived in Arkansas and Missouri before coming to Oskaloosa in December of 2015.

Ronald loved communicating on the C.B. Radio and Ham Radio; his handle was WA2LUF. He will be remembered fondly for his great sense of humor. He is survived by his daughter, Kristen (Richard) Gibson of Syracruse, NY; a grandson, Louis Hopkins also of Syracruse, NY; a brother, Richard (Tina) Whitmore of Liverpool, NY; and his close friend, Karolyn Hutton of Oskaloosa.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents. As was his wish, Ronald’s body has been cremated. Langkamp Funeral Chapel & crematory is handling the arrangements.
