Obituary of Ronald Pascavis Ronald C. Pascavis, age 81, of Shorewood, IL died December 7, 2018 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Ron was born November 29, 1937 in Sheboygan, WI to Gregory and Nettie (nee Clark) Pascavis. He married Vera Robinson, and was previously married to Donna (nee Bury) Pascavis.

Ron will be remembered for his sense of humor, independence, and handiness. He joyfully shared his love of being a “Jack of All Trades” by eagerly jumping into projects with friends and family. Every turn of a wrench will remind us of his mantra, “measure twice, cut once, and then fudge it”.

Ron is survived by one brother, Roger (Mary) Pascavis of Rudolph, WI; one sister Donna and Bob Ochsner of Plain, WI; two daughters, Ronda Raborn of Denver, CO and Gaylyn (Brad) Markowski of Waukee, IA; one son, Travis (Christie) Pascavis of Simsbury, CT; two step-sons, Don Bowens, and Thaddeus D. Robinson of Joliet; seven grandchildren, Louis Churnovic, Mackenna Markowski of Chicago, IL, Bret Markowski of Waukee, IA, Avery Markowski of Waukee, IA, Madeleine Pascavis of Simsbury, CT, Benjamin Pascavis of Simsbury, CT, and Jonathon Pascavis of Simsbury, CT; and one great-grandchild, Landon Churnovic of Land O’Lakes, FL. Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Vera; his first wife, Donna; and brother and sister-in-law, Beryl and Elaine Pascavis. Services for Ron Pascavis will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home 3200 Black at Essington Roads, Joliet, IL, where visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services.

Fr. John Regan will officiate. Interment with full military honors will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, and followed by a luncheon.
