VOLOSIN, Ronald W, age 86, of Kettering, OH, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 in his home surrounded by his loving children. Ron was born to William and Rose Volosin in Cleveland, OH on October 2, 1931. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Christine.

He is survived by children, Cathy (Jim) Lockhart, Christy (Bart) Gendt, Karen (Dan) Gouge’, Paul (Melissa) Volosin, Rob Volosin; grandchildren, Nikki Lockhart, Megan (Alex) Huber, Brandon (Erin) Gendt, Alex (Michelle) Gendt, Gabe Gouge’, Jaxson Volosin; 4 great-grandchildren, Baily, Olivia, Austin, Annalise; brother, Richard (Hank) Volosin, sister-in-law, Therese Mommers; and numerous loved nieces and nephews. Ron was a graduate of Cathedral Latin High School in Cleveland. Ron attended seminary school in California with plans of becoming a priest until he met his wife, Chris.

He was a charter member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Centerville and remained involved in the Men’s Club and was a 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Ron was a successful sales manager for multiple companies throughout his career. He was an avid card player who could tell a great story.

Ron was blessed to have an extraordinary life. He was a devout Catholic who dedicated his life to God, his family and friends. We love and miss you Dad.

Family will greet friends Friday, September 14 from 3-7pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E Stroop Rd, Kettering. Rosary Service will be held at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be the following morning at 10:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 6245 Wilmington Pk, Centerville, OH 45459.

Burial in Calvary Cemetery. A special thank you to the Knights of Columbus and the Men’s Club of St. Francis.
