Obituary for Ronnie A Martin Ronnie A. Martin passed away Sunday December 23, 2018. Mr. Martin was born in Gastonia, N.C. February 16, 1942. He was the son of the late Stamey A. Martin and the late Nell Sowell Martin.

Mr. Martin worked as a Class A Water/Wastewater Operator for Springs Industries, the City of Lancaster, and retired from the Town of Kershaw. Mr. Martin was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved fishing at the river and was an avid Clemson Tiger football fan.

There is no service planned. Mr. Martin is survived by two daughters, Lisa Martin Cook of Chester and Susan Martin Knight of Kershaw; two granddaughters, Ashley Knight Melton (Phillip) of Lancaster and Regan Leann Cook of Chester; one grandson, Andrew Todd Knight of Heath Springs; three great grandchildren, Lexan Grace Melton, Carson Todd Melton, and Cannon Phillip Melton; a sister Janice Stewart (Millon) of Lexington, a brother Gary Martin (Kate) of Manning, and a special uncle James “Jim” Sowell (Sandy) of Heath Springs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his precious wife Ann Beckham Martin.
