Obituary for Ronnie Ray Lingerfelt RONNIE RAY LINGERFELT, age 56 of Cornelia, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 20, 2018. Born in Hall County, Georgia on September 27, 1961, he was a son of Ray Loy Lingerfelt & Margaret Grace Jones Lingerfelt of Gainesville. Ronnie served his country proudly in the United States Marines and was the owner/operator of Lingerfelt Appliance Service for over 30 years.

He was currently employed with the Hall County School System Maintenance Department. Ronnie was a wonderful son, brother, father, & grandfather. He enjoyed reading his Bible, cooking, trout fishing, gardening, & golfing.

Ronnie attended The Torch Worship Center in Demorest. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Bryant. In addition to his parents, survivors include his daughter & son-in-law, Lauran Lingerfelt Berrong & Justin Berrong; granddaughter, Halle Elizabeth, all of Mt.

Airy, GA; Renee Lingerfelt York; nephew, Dustin Ray York, both of Buford, GA; former wife of 27 years, Angela Tench Haughton of Demorest, GA; other relatives, & friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Cantrell & Rev.

Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in the Habersham Cemetery with Pastor Mike Franklin officiating at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
