OBITUARY ROSA M LOPEZ April 29, 1950 – September 20, 2018 Rosa M. Lopez, “Rosie” age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones on September 20, 2018. She was born April 29, 1950, in El Paso, Texas. Her strong soul endured a long 7 year battle of cancer and always demonstrated her faith and God’s love through her trial.

She embraced her children, grandchildren and family dearly and she leaves a legacy that will forever be in our hearts. A devoted member to St. Raphael’s church parish serving as a catechist for young children and was an example of God’s love with all her encounters. Faithfully committed to Southern Union Gas for 40 years where she retired from.

Rosie was preceded in death by parents Juan D. Martinez and Rosa L. Martinez. Survived by husband Ricardo Lopez of 23 years, children, Daniel Garcia, Cristina Nunez, and Amanda Aguilar and their spouses, siblings, Johnny Martinez, Irene Camanez, Hector Martinez, Yolanda Moran, and Oscar Martinez. Proud grandmother of Jacob Garcia, Ashley Garcia, Sarai Nunez, and Sebastian Nunez.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, from 5:00 pm at CrestView Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza, El Paso, TX. 79936, with a rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will follow at 10:00 am at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 2301 Zanzibar, El Paso, Tx.
