Rosa Nell Batey, age 86, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at The Waters of Cheatham in Ashland City, Tennessee. Rosa was born in Ashland City, Tennessee, on June 3, 1932, to the late Willis Williams and Rena Toler Williams. She worked in retail for Dillards before retiring.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Batey; brother, Leslie Williams; sisters, Neomia Oliver and Edna Morris. She is survived by her daughters, Andrea (Doug) Snyder and Dayna Batey; two grandchildren, Amanda Snyder Wright and Heather (Wesley) Snyder Finch; and two great-grandchildren, Shelby Wright and Ryleigh Finch. Funeral service will be Friday, January 18, 2019, at 3pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Robble officiating.

Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Ashland City, Tennessee. The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 18th from 11am until funeral hour of 3pm. Serving as pallbearers are Doug Snyder, Wesley Finch, Wesley Sovine, Lee Spann, Ernie Tilghman, and Alan Vaillencourt.
