Rosa Quesenberry’s Obituary Rosa Quesenberry Smith Stout, 93, passed away at her home in Radford on Friday, May 24, peacefully, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Edna Quesenberry; and her husbands, Clive Smith and John Wesley Stout; her brother, Harless Quesenberry; and sister, Winnie Vaughn. She is survived by her siblings, Iressa Fawcett of California, and Coburn Quesenberry (Louise) of Floyd; son, Deon Smith of Christiansburg; daughter, Peggy Phillips (Richard) of Radford; stepson, James Stout (Mary Catherine) of Dublin; step daughter, Valerie Miser of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Amanda Spurrier of Charlotte, N. C., Chris Smith, of Raleigh, N. C., Jason Phillips (Julie) of Radford; step grandchildren, John W. Stout II of Washington, Andrea Makriyianis of Richmond; great grandchildren, Caroline, Sarah and Jack Spurrier of Charlotte, N.C.; extended family, Marc Childress and family of N. Y. and Michael Childress and family of Florida; and special friends, Ed Phipps of Radford, and Judy Smith of Christiansburg.

Tabor Road, Blacksburg, Va. 24060. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Radford.

Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastors Jerry Gibson and Brent Strouf officiating. Interment will follow in Capt. George Quesenberry Cemetery in Floyd County.
