OBITUARY Rose Elliott Mosley November 12, 1944 – October 13, 2018 Rose Elliott Mosley, age 73, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2018. Rose was born November 12, 1944 in Mobile, Alabama to George and Della Elliott. Rose was the owner and operator of Mosley’s Meat Market and was chosen Best Woman Business Owner in 2002.

She loved spending time with her family at her lagoon house, boating, watching the sunset, and dancing. She loved to travel and took as many trips as she could to see this country. She loved Jesus, her church, and her preacher.

Her stores gave her such pride knowing how people depended on her when they wanted the best; and how her customers were family to her. She will be missed by so many people because knowing her was to love her. She is resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Rose is survived by her sons, Joey (Tara) Mosley and Daron (Terri) Mosley; step-daughter, Annette (Richie) Petrilli; sisters, Ruth Driskell and Mary Tanner; grandsons, Christopher (Tiffany), David, Jacob, and Donny; granddaughters, Janna, Lexus, Christine and Patty(Jeffrey); seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Lankheit; parents, George and Della Elliott; brothers, Robert, Luther, Earl, and Charlie; and sisters, Melonee, Lula Mae, Bernice, and Georgia Mae. A visitation for Rose will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin St, Mobile, Alabama 36606.

Mrs. Mosley will lie in state at Luke 4:18 Fellowship Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Luke 4:18 Fellowship, 2664 Sollie Rd, Mobile, Alabama 36695. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 5956 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, Alabama 36619. Serving as pallbearers are Christopher Mosley, David Mosley, Jacob Mosley, Taylor Mosley, Charlie Elliott, and Harold Mason.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Pilgrim, Al Tanner and Shane Manley. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www. radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com for the Mosley family.
