MYERS – Rose Marie, 93, St. Michael, died May 3, 2019, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born October 29, 1925, in St. Michael, daughter of Michael and Elizabeth (Roeder) Progar. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Raymond E. Myers, who died July 24, 2003; grandson, Matthew Myers; sister, Elizabeth Osman; and brothers, Paul, Henry, Andrew, Edward, William, Michael and Louis.

Survived by children, Rosamond Myers, Johnstown; Michael, married to Joy (DeWitt), Sarasota, Florida; Loretta Myers, Conemaugh; Nancy, wife of Steve Rager, Johnstown; Donald, married to Vicky (Scanlin), Cypress, Texas; and David, married to Lanita (Wright), Trafford; daughter of the heart, Betty Flook, Conemaugh; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Bev), St. Michael; and Donald (Joan), Yorktown, Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Michael Catholic Church, St. Michael and lifetime member of SNPJ. She was a store clerk for the former Eureka Store, St. Michael; and bank teller at the former US National Bank, St. Michael.

Rose was known for her beautiful crochet work, enjoyed bingo, and loved spending time with her family. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Father Brian Warchola presiding. Private committal of urn, St. James Cemetery.
