Rose M. Costantini, 91, of Girard, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Rose was born February 19, 1927 in Neffs, Ohio, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Novy) Perunko. Rose was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.

She had worked for Prudential Insurance Co. before marrying Frank L. Costantini Sr. on July 28, 1951. Rose was a devoted wife and mother to her family. She was a member of St. Rose Church, Mt.

Carmel Society, the Catholic Women’s Society and Girard Senior Bocce league. She enjoyed reading, playing bocce and sewing, and was a seamstress for many years. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; Frank L. (Susan) Costantini Jr. of Austintown, Robert J. (Gerri) Costantini of Girard and Laurie A. (Michael) Paul of Girard, her grandchildren; Joseph L. Costantini, Michael A. Costantini (Fiancee Jenna Petrella), Beth A. VandeVelde, Ryan Paul and Brandon Paul, and great-grandchildren, Ian and Case.

Besides her parents,she is preceded in death by her husband Frank, who died November 3, 1990, and her sister, Joyce Massar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 30th, 11:00 AM at St. Rose Church preceded by a prayer service at 10:30 AM at Blackstone Funeral Home. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Rose will be laid to rest at Pineview Cemetery next to her husband. The family requests any memorial contributions be made to St. Rose Church Memorial Fund. Visit www.
