Rose’s Obituary Rose Rich, 84, of Meriden, and formerly Hamden, died January 19th at Midstate Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of Joseph Rich. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Steven & Elizabeth Batick, Rose was a longtime employee of Macy’s and various other retail stores.

She is survived by a daughter Deborah Riccio of Meriden, sons David Rich of Georgia and Mike Rich of Milford, brothers Jerry Batick of E.Haven, and Paul & James Batick of Florida, a sister Linda Cosenza of California, 11 grand children, and 3 great grand children. She was predeceased by a son Joseph Jr., a daughter Sharon, brothers Fred DiMartino, Henry, Steve,and William Batick, and a sister Patricia Zandri. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11A.M. in the Peter H.Torello & Son F.H., 1022 Dixwell Ave.

, Hamden. Burial will follow in All Saints cemetery.
