OBITUARY Rosemarie DeBellis February 3, 1927 – September 8, 2018 Rosemarie DeBellis passed away peacefully on Sept. 8th at 4:30 am at the Northern Manor Nursing Home in Nanuet, NY where she resided for the past 9 years. The youngest daughter of 8 children, Rosemarie was born to Palmina Cipriano and Carmine Flamino on Feb.

3, 1927 in Bronx, NY. Rosemarie graduated a vocational high school as a seamstress and worked for a local dress maker in New York City where she worked on the designer’s prototypes and developed a love for beautiful clothing yet was happiest in her housecoat. Married to Michael A. DeBellis (deceased June 11, 2011) on October 20, 1951.

She is survived by their children Michael and Denise, daughter-in-law Lisa, and grandchildren Jonathan, Melanie, and Eric. Friends and family are welcome to attend the funeral services on Friday Sept. 14th at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home located at 321 South Main Street, New City, NY.

10956 from 6 – 9 pm. Burial Services will be on Saturday morning, Sept. 15th, at the Gate of Heaven in Hawthorne, NY following a 10 am ceremony at St. Anthony’s Church in Nanuet, NY.
