Obituary for Rosemarie Trentacost Trentacost, Rosemarie (Russo), 77, of Toms River passed away peacefully at home on August 17, 2018. Beloved wife for 58 years of Victor “Red” Trentacost – “Retired Battalion Chief of the Passaic Fire Department”. Dear daughter of the late Anna & Patsy Russo.

Loving mother of Florence Trentacost Lo Cascio of Toms River, Patrick Trentacost Sr. “Chief of the Passaic Fire Department” & his wife Victoria of Wayne & Anthony Trentacost of Toms River. Grandmother of Patrick Jr., Victor & Louis. Sister of Anita Lipari of Clifton and the late Joseph “Jr”.

Russo, Carmen Russo, Thomas Russo & Anthony Russo. Mrs. Trentacost was a long time resident of Passaic and lived in Woodland Park before moving to Toms River 2 years ago. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church – Passaic and a member of the Rosary Society.

Rosemarie loved to cook and bake. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family, especially on holidays. She bravely battled MS for over 40 years but it never stopped her.

She worked for the Herald News, a doctor’s office and owned a video store in Passaic. She was a strong and courageous lady. Funeral from the Marrocco Memorial Chapel 470 Colfax Avenue Clifton on Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church at 10 AM.
