Rosemary Sophia Gallegos, was born on October 17, 1946 to Camillo and Inez Romero in Fowler, Colorado. She was 72 years of age. She departed on December 23, 2018, at home with loved ones by her side.

She was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her siblings; Barbara Solis (Pete), Linda Martinez (Robert), Tony R. Romero (Ida), Patricia Whatley (Freddie), all of La… Junta, Colorado. She is also survived by her children; Patricia Villa from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Donna Lopez (Leo), from Hobbs, New Mexico, Katherine Villa (Terry) from Denver, Colorado, Jimmy Villa (Lisa) from Hobbs, New Mexico, and Justin Gallegos (Alice) from La Junta, Colorado.

She had 14 grand-children and 4 great grand-children. She was preceded in death by her parents. Also her siblings Tony Romero, Gloria Maestas, Albert Romero, Mary Norris, Camillo Romero Jr., Frankie Romero, Priscilla Martinez, Philip Martinez and husband Ray Gallegos.

A Memorial Service for Rosemary will be held at The First Assembly of God Church in La Junta, Friday, January 18, 2019 from 12:00-1:00 pm. Dinner to follow from 2:00-4:00 pm at the La Junta Senior Center. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Johnson-Romero Funeral Home.
