Rosetta Gunter [94], passed on to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Born May 18, 1925, in Columbia, SC to Henry and Annie McDuffie, she married Curtis Gunter Sr. on July 11, 1943. They moved to Asbury Park, NJ in 1950 and resided on Borden Ave for 60 years and together raised 5 children.

After becoming a licensed practical nurse in 1962, she worked at Fitkins Hospital until she retired after 25 years of service. She is predeceased by her husband Curtis Gunter Sr., daughter Gwen, and sons Phillip, Paul, and Gregory. She is survived by her son Curtis Jr. and a host of grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial and burial services will be privately held. God will judge us not according to how much we endured,. .

but how much we could love ~ “No time to cry, don’t shed a tear I am with God, in Spirit I am here… Keep the faith, my Spirit is Light I am at peace now. I fought the Good Fight”.
