Born on December 20, 1935 in Bay City, TX, she eventually settled in South Houston, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesusa Lopez and Pedro Ramos Sr.; husband: Paul G. Salinas; sons: David Salinas, Rogelio Salinas, and Samuel Paul Salinas Sr.; siblings: Pedro Ramos Jr., Mary Louise Hebert, and Mary Jane Torres; and grand- child: Alfred Castillo Jr. Rosie’s legacy will forever live in the hearts of her children: Cynthia Sanchez (Javier), Rebecca Botello (Gilbert), and Robert Salinas Sr. (Mary Ann); daughters- in-law: Lupe Salinas, and Nelda Salinas; grand- children: Annette Comacho (Marcello), Michael Salinas (Kimberly), Jennifer Castillo, Jonathan Salinas (Vanessa), Angela Flores (Miguel), Samuel P. Salinas Jr., Robert Salinas Jr., Paul Salinas, Veronica Salinas, Armando Castillo, David A. Salinas, David Salinas Jr., Gabriella Botello, Alfred Salinas, and Ezekiel Salinas; greatgrand- children: Jay Ener, Marcello Comacho Jr., Kaylen Salinas; Michael Comacho, Isabel Zermeno, Miguel Flores, Jesse Flores, Albert Flores, Brandon Salinas, Abby Ener, Christopher Flores, Johnny Comacho, Christabella Salinas, Jazmin Salinas, Colten Salinas, Delilah Salinas, Adalynn Salinas, Aubrey Castillo, and Laila Flores; sisters: Joann Leos (Jesse Leos), and Mamie Jasso; brother: Reyes Ramos (Juana Ramos); and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Services have been entrusted to South Houston Funeral Home and on Thursday the 10th day of January 2019 the family will welcome visitors into Gulf Palm Assembly located at 12400 Palmsprings Dr. Houston, TX 77034 from 5-9pm. Following on Friday the 11th day of January 2019 a Celebration of Rosie life will commence at 10am with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
