Rosie M. Redmond, 84 of Canal Fulton died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018. Rosie was born April 30, 1934 in Troy, Alabama and had been a resident of the Akron area most of her life.

She worked as a visiting nurse and nurse’s aide and was an artist, accomplished with oil paints. Preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Eunice Turner; husband, James Donald Redmond; son, David Charles Edwards; two brothers and one sister. Rosie is survived by her daughter, Diane (Rick) Iverson; grandson, Zachary; sister, Janice Kirkhart; sister-in-law, Patricia (Redmond) Raymond; numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.

Funeral service will be WEDNESDAY 10:00 a.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry Street East, (Rte. 93) Canal Fulton and where family and friends may call Wednesday 9:30 am until time of service. Burial will be WEDNESDAY 11:15 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio.
