Obituary for Ross Dudley Delong Print Ross Dudley Delong, age 81 of Spencer, Tennessee passed from this life on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, Tennessee. Born Saturday, October 30, 1937 in Spencer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William “Bill” Delong and the late Hassie Cope Delong. Ross served his country in the US Air Force.

Ross is survived by his: 2 sons – Greg Delong and wife Robin Doug Delong and wife Shannon daughter – Gigi Joene Lewis and husband Shane sister – Jean Mohler and husband Rick 13 grandchildren – Amy Hodges, Alana Shores and husband Justin, Carrie Braun and husband Brian, Holly Solomon and husband Tommy, Keisha Dickerson and husband Matt, Jacob Sparkman, Jacqueline Gentry and husband Dannon, Drew Delong, Dudley Delong, Javonna Delong, Stephanie McCoy and husband Joey, Crystal Owens and husband Daniel, and Justin Grissom and wife Rachel 17 great grandchildren – Autumn, Jaycie, and Ginny Hodges, Tiana and Tanika Watters, Knox Braun, Konner and Cameron Shores, Trinity and Caynen Gentry, Austin and Aiden Holloway, Ethan McCoy, Jacob and Abigal Grissom, and Ella and Dash Owens. Many other family members and friends also survive. In addition to his parents, Ross was preceded in death by his brother Wayne Delong, and two sisters Sue Ross and Patsy Rowland.

A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday at Spencer Funeral Home located at 16000 Hwy 111 N. Spencer, Tennessee 38585 with the Billy Charles Ross and Bruce Corvin officiating. Interment will be in Shockley Cemetery, Spencer, TN. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 22, 2019, Saturday from 1 to 8 PM and again Sunday 10 AM to 3 PM at Spencer Funeral Home, 16000 Hwy 111 N., Spencer, Tennessee.
