Ross Jonathon Mathews June 15, 1963 – May 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ross Jonathon Mathews, 55, of Wilmington, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 7th. He is the beloved son of Robert H. and Peggy S. (nee Nelson) Mathews of Mokena; Devoted brother of Scott W. (Julie) Mathews and Sean P. (Deborah) Mathews; and is survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ross was a long-time resident of Wilmington and was the proprietor of Graystone Automotive.

He was a proud US Army Veteran and a very active volunteer and supporter of community activities. In keeping with his wishes, private cremation rites will be accorded. Several public memorial services will be announced.
