OBITUARY Ross Tom Varacelli October 29, 1919 – January 21, 2019 Ross Varacelli, 99, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at Akron General Hospital. He was born October 29, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Leonardo and Rose. He was a longtime Wickliffe resident prior to moving to Mayfield Hts.

10 years ago. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Navy. Mr. Varacelli was a truck driver for many years.

He devoted his life to his family. Survivors are his sons, David (Pat), Leonard and Ross Jr. (Roseanne); 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brother Michael (Arlene) and sister June Lentz. He was preceded in death by his wife of Rita, sisters Viola Stevens (Walter) and Connie Marano (Carl), brothers Tony and Joseph and brother-in-law Stan Lentz.

Calling hours will be at The DiCicco and Sons Funeral Home 5975 Mayfield Rd. Mayfield Hts. , on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. Private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105. Online condolences and guest registry www.
