OBITUARY Roy Hathaway January 25, 1942 – July 27, 2018 John Leroy Hathaway resident of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away surrounded by his family in his home July 27, 2018. He was 76. He was born January 25, 1942 in Idaho Falls to Charles Hathaway and Wanda Williams.

Roy grew up in Idaho Falls in the New Sweden / Osgood area. He met and married Elaine Dunn in 1962. During their marriage, Roy and Elaine lived in Goldendale, Washington where he worked in the lumber industry.

Together they had two daughters. They later divorced. Roy then met Doralee Erickson, they were married in 1970.

Together they had three children. Throughout Roy’s life, he enjoyed camping, fishing, drinking beer with his friends at R&R Bar and River City Saloon, he also had a passion for cars. He was also known as the Greeter at Sam’s Club.

The Hathaway family motto is, “There’s a right way, wrong way, and a Hathaway”. Roy is survived by his wife Doralee of Idaho Falls, daughters Kerrie Duran (Frank) of Phoenix, Arizona, Cindy Olsen of Seattle, Washington, Wendy Hall of Idaho Falls, Dawn Langston (Phil) of Idaho Falls, his son Brian Hathaway of Idaho Falls, his sister Joyce Wisdom of Blackfoot, Idaho, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother Dave, his sisters Linda Jan Hathaway, Jeanne Friedrich, his son-in-law Andy Olsen.
