Carter, age 90, of Opp, AL died Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at a local nursing facility. Mr. Carter is survived by his son, Kenneth Carter & Melba; daughter, Karen Woods & Keith; brothers, Robert Carter and James Carter; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Mr. Carter will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2019 at Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with Marcus Ramer officiating.

Interment will follow at Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens in Opp, AL. Visitation will be 6pm until 8pm Thursday at Wyatt Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to Comfort Care Hospice.

Wyatt Funeral Home of Opp, AL is serving the Carter family.
