Roy James King III, age 56, of China Twp. , passed away May 7, 2019. He was born January 13, 1963 in Mt.

Clemens. On June 24, 1994 he married Kelly Morrison in Detroit. Roy was a member of Iron Workers Local 25.

He assisted on the construction of Comerica Park and the second span of the Blue Water Bridge. He currently was a 17 year employee of the Detroit Edison. Roy is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kelly King; daughters, Erin and Katie King; mother, Deloris King; siblings, Kim, Joel, Troy, Kathleen and Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his son, R.J. King and father Roy King Jr. A memorial visitation will be Saturday June 1st from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
