ROY’s Obituary Roy M. Franks, 70 years old of Trevor, WI, a child of God and brother in Christ was called to his Savior’s side peacefully in his sleep at his home on Saturday, May 11, 2019. He was born April 23, 1949 in Baldwyn, MS, the son of the late Audie Lee and Jewel (nèe Edge) Franks and shortly after his family moved to Wisconsin. On November 16, 1968, Roy married Sherry Hilbert in Wilmot, WI.

They are members of Community Baptist Church in Silver Lake, WI. Roy was the owner and operator of C&M Trucking in Trevor. He served his country proudly in the United States Army.

Roy is survived by his wife of nearly 51 years, Sherry; their children, Chad (Brenda) and Shelly (Jay) Stoll; their four grandchildren, Jacob (Rebecca) Franks, Jesse (Briana Raab) Franks, Sabrina Franks, Kaylee Stoll and three great-grandchildren, Weston Franks, Wyatt Sasala, and Raelynn Franks; his siblings, Joe Franks, Dixie Black, Wanda (Darnell) Ray and brother-in-law, Glen Hargett; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Hargett; his sister-in-law, Margaret Franks; and his brother-in-law, Dwight Black. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until 12:00PM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Community Baptist Church, 203 N. 4th St, Silver Lake, WI 53170.

The Funeral Service will commence at 12:00PM. Interment with Military Honors will immediately follow in Hosmer Cemetery, Bristol, WI. Arrangements were entrusted to the STRANG FUNERAL OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. Antioch, IL 60002.
