Reverend Roy “Shorty”Clifford Rowland, age 83, of Douglasville passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 9, 1935 to Walter Rowland and Clara Johnson Rowland. During his career he worked as a sheet metal worker at Potter Rayfield, he worked for 15 years with the Douglas County School System as a custodian at Turner Middle School, and he did lawn mower repair.

He was an Ordained Minister and a member ofLiberty Baptist Church in Winston.
