Buckley Sr., 81, of Center, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Mr. Buckley was born in a log cabin November 17, 1937, in Huxley, to B.C. Buckley and Mattie Lee Armstreet Buckley.

He was a member of Sam Houston Masonic Lodge #132, where he was a Master Mason. He was also a member of Boilermakers #374 and Martinsville Church of Christ. Mr. Buckley is survived by his children, Deborah Edwards and husband James of Waxahachie, Royce Buckley Jr. and wife Diana of Waxahachie; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Johnny A Buckley of Huxley, Larry Buckley of Bridge City; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Preceded in death by wife, Marie; wife, Dorthy; parents, B.C. Buckley and Mattie Lee Armstreet Buckley; stepmother, Marjorie Wilburn Buckley.
