R.T.’s Obituary R.T. Shaw passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Payson, Utah at the age of 94. He was born May 14, 1924 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Oscar and Pearl (Hill) Shaw. He served in the Army Air Corp in World War II and was involved with the Air Offensive of Europe Normandy, Rhineland Ardennes, Northern France and Central Europe.

R.T. married Reba Joe Godwin on June 5, 1949 in Alex, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on August 28, 2017. He is survived by his son, Ted Shaw and his wife, Katy; and daughter, Nancy Rebecca Shaw; Her grandchildren: Amanda Newsome, Sam Shaw, Tyler Shaw; Great Grandchildren: Kathleen Caroline Newsome, Oscar Browne Newsome, Josie Dee Shaw and Will Sullivan Shaw.
