Ruben is preceded in death by his parents Melchor and Hortensia Vasquez De Los Santos; brother Melchor De Los Santos Jr.; Gloria De Los Santos. Ruben is survived by his wife Anestacia Guerrero De Los Santos; sons Ruben (Chalup) Jr., Victor (Lisa), and Michael; brother Oscar De Los Santos; sisters Rosalinda (Ramon) Saucedo, Irma (Paul) Huron, grandchildren Ruben, Gayle, Gabriel, Donovan, and Avery; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruben De Los Santos Sr. was a loving father and husband. He was born May 2, 1953 and passed February 6, 2019. Ruben was Married to Anestacia Guerrero March 30, 1974.

This year would have been 45 years of marriage. He had 3 sons and 4 grand children. Ruben was known as Mr. D, güero, and just De Los Santos.

He was the jack of all trades. Our father was everyones carpenter, plumber, mechanic, coach, comedian and friend. His laughter, his sense of humor and the need to make others laugh was his best quality.

He was a very outgoing individual, the life of the party some would say. His voice carried throughout a room. His laugh could be recognized from a mile away.

Inviting you to breakfast was his way of showing his love. Often he invited his grandchildren and use that time to tell them he was proud of them. Even though he may not have been well educated, education was very important to him.

He was proud of his oldest grandchild when he started college this year. He always told his children and grand children he was proud of them. His selflessness, work ethic and kindness will carry on with his children.

It was important for him to be a better father than his father was to him. Thank you dad for being that better father you always wanted to be. Dad, remember when your up there in heaven “Don’t do what I do….

. nothing”. Please come and join the family of Ruebn De Los Santos as we come together to celebrate a wonderful man and to pay tribute to his memory.
