Ruby Brooks November 10, 1922 – April 30, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mrs. Ruby Brooks, age 96 of Ball Ground, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Wildwood Nursing Center. Mrs. Brooks is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-Law: Jerry & Patsy Brooks of Sutallee Place, GA. Daughter and Son-in-Law: Janet & Kennie Childers of Ball Ground.

Sister: Willie Grace Brooks of Marble Hill. Granddaughters: Felicia (Tyler) Tinsley, Elise Brooks and Elizabeth Knight. Grandson: Tyler Childers.

Ruby is preceded in death by her Husband: W.D. Brooks and Son: Jack Brooks. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, May 1, from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM and Thursday, May 2, from 8:00 AM until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Cagle Funeral Home Chapel.

Rev. Huey Holloway and Rev. Richie Gibbs officiating.

Pallbearers: Tyler Childers, Tyler Tinsley, Kennie Childers, Keven McTaggart, Donnie Fowler and Randell Brooks. Honorary Pallbearers: Mike Young, Randy Whaley, Gene Ray, Zach Kent, Austin Kent and Keaton Kent. Interment will be at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery immediately following the funeral services.

The family will receive flowers or donate to Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery fund. Cagle Home is honored to serve the Brooks family.
