Ruby E. Smith (Schiller) Ruby E. Smith, age 94, of Lake Geneva, WI passed away to eternal life Tuesday April 24, 2018 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI. She was born on December 20, 1923 in Pittsville, WI to the late Adolph and Laura (Mundt) Schiller. Ruby married the late Tilford “Popeye” E. Smith on March 3, 1947 in Lake Geneva, WI.

She was a retired employee at Trostel’s and a longtime member at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Loving Mother of Gladys (Roger) Clapper, Zelda Kranig (Tom Scholer), and Gregg (Sharon) Smith. Loving grandmother of Tony, Kim (Gary), Mary (Brian), Trisha (Mike), Sherry, Rochelle (Jim), Ron (Heather), Carrie, Adam, Heidi (Josh), Steven, Jesse (Tyler), Holly (Steve), and James (Heather).

Ruby is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, siblings Alice Richter, Evelyn Johnson, Bettie Giese, Richard (Martha) Schiller, Kathleen Skilling, Joanne Bollman, and Leroy (Rose) Schiller. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, husband, children Robert Smith, Gloria Ruzkowski, Gary Smith, Glenda Wriedt, siblings Clara Dupee and Agnes Bronstad. Visitation will be from 4 to 7p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Steinke-Lazarczyk Funeral Home (515 Center Street, Lake Geneva) and Monday, April 30, 2018 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1101 Logan St, Lake Geneva) from 10 to 11a.

m with a service at 11a.m. with Pastor Peter Metzger officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Delavan Township, WI. Steinke-Lazarczyk Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Lake Geneva, WI is proudly serving the family of Ruby Smith.
