Alliance: Ruby R. Gillespie, age 93 passed away on May 27, 2019 at Canterbury Villa of Alliance. She was born September 4, 1925 in Akron, Ohio to Ray and Adaline (Nanstiel) Smith. Ruby last worked at Southeast Local Schools, and was a member of Deerfield Friends Church.

She loved her family, cooking, working puzzles and was very active in Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her sons: Dales Gillespie of Ravenna, and Eric Gillespie of Alliance. Five Grandchildren and Seven Great- Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband: Norman Gillespie. Son: Terry Gillespie and sister: Martha Williams. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 30,2019 at 1pm; at Highland Memorial Park with Pastor Ken Hagan officiating.
