Obituary of Ruby States States, Ruby R., 80, Clyde, passed away peacefully September 6, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 26, 1938 in Robinson, the daughter of the late Robert Gail and Rosa Frances (Miller) Hinton. Also preceded in death by infant son Darrel E. States, Jr. and granddaughter Capri McGaughey.

Survived by husband of 60 years, Darrel E. States; children Rodney States and wife Karen, Ohio; Jeanne McGaughey and husband Bill, MD; Lisa Olmstead and husband James, PA; Darla Foust and husband Kenneth, MD. Grandchildren David McGaughey, Russell States, Douglas Foust, Alexander Foust and wife Michelle, Amanda Olmstead, Kendyl Foust, Andrew Olmstead, Ryan States. Great-grandson Lucian Foust.

Brother Gail Hinton, sister Claire Ames. Ruby was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was proud of her family.

She cherished the memories of traveling the country with her husband. At Ruby’s request there will be no public visitation or service. Private interment at the convenience of the family.
