Rudeen Fender Conaway, age 88 of Nashville, Ga. went to be with the Lord on Monday February 4, 2019 peacefully at Crestwood Nursing Home in Valdosta. Rudeen was born July 13, 1930 to the late Marion and Ola Gaskins Fender.

She was a Christian lady who spent many nights in prayer. Those closest to her knew that she loved a Coco-Cola more than anything, a strong woman who was best known for her feisty attitude and unreserved spirit. She devoted the latter days of her life to her love of young Grace.

A quote that mirrors her life,” A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in” Survivors include one son, Donald Brown, one daughter, Martha (Kelvin) Chaney, grandson, Christopher (Elizabeth) Roundtree, great granddaughter, Logan (Kimmuel) Viveiros, and a great great granddaughter, Grace Viveiros.
