Rudolph A. Ramella, 89, passed away peacefully at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, NJ with his loving family by his side. He was born in Newark, NJ the son of the late Donato and Raefella Ramella. Mr. Ramella was a resident of Somerset, NJ for the past 16 years.

Prior to that he lived in Newark, NJ for many years and Scotch Plains, NJ for 28 years. He was the owner of UJ Ramelson Corporation in Newark, NJ for many years as he was the second generation in the family business which is still being run now by third generation family members. Mr. Ramella was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.

He loved spending time with his family. Mr. Ramella was an avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed playing golf. He was predeceased by his son William Ramella, a grandson David and by his brother Louis Ramella.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Rosalie Ramella of Somerset, NJ, his dear children, two daughters, Eileen Ramella-Pagano and her husband Robert of Green Brook, NJ and Lisa Ramella of Somerset, NJ and his son Dennis Ramella and his wife Judy of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. He is also survived by his three cherished grandchildren Gabrielle Rendinelli, Anthony Rendinelli and Amanda Ramella. The viewing will be on Monday June 3, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd.

, Manville, NJ. A Funeral service will take place on Monday, June 3, 2019 during the viewing and will be conducted by Father John Dobrosky. Interment will be private.
