Born in Munich, Germany, Rudy came to the United States in 1950, living in Carlstadt before moving to Hasbrouck Heights. Rudy was a machinist for Maguth & Son in Carlstadt before retiring several years ago.

Rudy was the beloved husband of the late Louise J. (nee Potrzeba), and was predeceased by his loving parents, Joseph and Antonie (nee Stettner) Abriel, and three dear brothers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Tuesday morning between 9:30 and 10:30 AM, at the Kohler Funeral Home, 280 Hacjkensack Street, Wood Ridge. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
