Russell “Bussy”‘s Obituary Russell “Bussy” Eugene Bailey Jr., 46 of Honor died Friday, February 22, 2019, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was born November 21, 1972, in Frankfort, the son of Russell and Joy (Moore) Bailey Sr. Bussy worked as a carpenter. In his spare time, he hunted and fished.

The most important thing in Bussy’s life was his family, and he adored his nieces and nephews. Bussy is survived by: his father, Russell Bailey Sr. of Honor; his siblings, Debbie Reed of Honor, Rick Fast of Honor, Vicki Fast of Honor, Jeanne (Buzz) Harris of Honor, and Glenn Fast of Honor; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Bussy was preceded in death by: his mother, Joy Bailey; his sister, Sandra Kerby; his brother, Randy Fast; his paternal grandparents, Leon and Luella Bailey; his maternal grandmother, Clara Moore; and his niece, Kristen Harris; and several aunts and uncles.

A celebration of Bussy’s life will be held from 2-4 PM, Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at the Bennett-Barz Funeral Home in Beulah. The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, in Beulah, is in charge of arrangements. www.
