Russell Dale Minnick, 89, passed away on December 30, 2018. He was born in Kenmore to Russell and Merle Minnick. He graduated from Kenmore High School, served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired as an inspector from Babcock & Wilcox after 30 years of service.

Dale was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Rodney. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Doris; son, Steve (Dawn) Minnick; daughter-in-law, Debbie Minnick; grandchildren, Dawn, Michelle, Nicole, Stephanie (Joey) Davis and Charles (Mandy) Minnick; great grandchildren, Mariah, Madison and Joey, Jr. Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd.

, Akron on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m., Pastor Jack Kozak officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Lutheran Church in memory of Dale.
