Russell K. Shepard, age 66, of Bellefontaine, Ohio passed away unexpectedly at 5:24 A.M. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Kenton, Ohio May 24, 1952, to the late Frank and Dorothy (Latimer) Shepard. Along with his parents a sister, also preceded Russell in death.

On September 25, 1988, in Raymond, Ohio he married Linda (Huffman) Shepard and she survives. He is also survived by his children, Jerry Shepard, Julie (Cameron Erskine) Shepard, Michael (Gina) Bickham, and Angie (Skip) Judd; grandchildren, Kaylee, Hunter, Alyssa, Westyn, Kelsey, Amanda, Jesse, Shenan, Paige, Brandon, and Brittany; six great grandchildren; a sister, Elaine (Bill) Klausing; a brother, Robert (Janice) Shepard; many nieces and nephews and many special friends. Russell retired from Honda of America and was a member of the West Mansfield Church of Christ.

He loved riding his bicycle, being with his grandkids, and joking around with them. Russell enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his truck, and different types projects. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes.

All who knew and loved Russell will miss him. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Bellefontaine. Pastor Dean Wasson will officiate a memorial service at 4:00 P.M. following visitation.

The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
