Poindexter of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Poindexter is survived by his Wife – Lavern Poindexter, Sons – Mark (Farah) Poindexter, John (Cathy) Poindexter, Daughter-Ann (Eric) Aufner, Step-Sons – Glenn (Mary Beth) Luedloff, Dennis Luedloff. He has Seven Grandchildren, Seven Step-Grandchildren, Eight Great-Grandchildren and Fifteen Step-Great-Grandchildren.

Mr. Poindexter was preceded in death by his First Wife – Jeanne Poindexter, Parents – Orval and Minnie Poindexter, Daughter – Martha Poindexter, and Brothers – Elvin “Al” Poindexter, Wayne Poindexter. Mr. Poindexter worked for many years at J.C. Penney as a merchandise manager. He enjoyed music and loved to dance.

Russell was known for his sense of humor.
