Ruth Shaw age 81 of Forest, died on Sunday May 19, 2019 at her residence under Bridge Hospice. She was born May 20, 1937 in Dola to Wilford and Martha (Callahan) Elwood. She married Arden Shaw and he survives in Forest.
Ruth is survived by a daughter Andrea (Frank) Lutz, their children Cory Shaw, Cyle Lutz, Joshua Lutz, and Great grandchild Zephan Lutz, daughter Jan (Douglas) Gill, their children Andrew Gill, Elaina Gill, son Dave (Carol) Lehman, their children Carl & Stacy Mullins, Steven & Emily Mullins, their daughter Ellie Mullins, Ashly & Allan Cullifer their daughters Katlyn & Raelyn, Tammy & Eric Stansbery, their children Brittney and Dedrik Kaser, Erica & Kyle Perce Reece, their daughters Kendra, Halley, Avalon, Abe Cramer, Casey & Angel Lehman their daughters McKalyn & Kira Lehman, Alicia & Joel Armstrong their daughter Maleah, son Dennis Lehman, his children Mali Lehman, Melissa (Andrew) Steingass their daughter Caroline Steingass, Ashley Lehman, Annika Lehman, brothers Dean Elwood, Gary Elwood, sister Pauline Hamilton. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. Ruth graduated from Forest High School where she was a Homecoming Court attendant.
She retired from United Aircarft after 30 plus years. Ruth attended Patterson United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Marseilles Mother Club and enjoyed baking and spending time with grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 22, 2019 from 1:30-3:00pm at Bringman Clark Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Jackson Center Cemetery, Wyandot County at 3:30pm Memorial contributions may be made to Marseilles Fire Dept. in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave.
