Ruth Ann Pingel, 86 of Springfield passed away Wednesday February 27, 2019 in her home. Ruth was born November 15, 1932 in Perryville, Missouri to August Anton and Agnes Mary (Unterreiner) Pingel. She was an active member of St. Agnes Cathedral where she volunteered for many functions at her beloved church.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and her seven siblings. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends. Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday March 8, 2019 in St. Agnes Chapel under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery in Perryville, Missouri at a later date.
